Puffin Vertical marine power engine is a twin in-line oscillating engine. We offer it mounted on a baseplate complete with a vertical boiler.

The plant is suitable for powering small steam launches of approximately 3 feet length with open decks that allow for taller boilers. As with all our model it is fully tested before being dispatched.

It's very simplicity and robust design ensure long and trouble free service.

You can belt this dynamo to any of our steam engines and produce power for your miniature factories or light your small villages. This is reminiscent of a vintage open frame dynamo used for lighting in early factories.

This Dynamo comes completed sporting cast iron construction. The frame has mounting ears and two aluminum end caps to contain the magnet, armature and brushes. You can paint this to suit your requirements.
