The Stuart Triple is a very accurate model of a marine steam engine. It comes complete with working reverse gear, feed pump and condenser vacuum pump and is ideal for a scale steamer or tug, being a delight to watch under steam.

The Stuart Triple is one of the most complex models in our range, however the time and effort is well invested as it is also one of the most attractive. Many of these engines are kept as display models, whilst others are built into dioramas recreating the engine room of a steam liner or large launch.

Cylinder Bores: 3/4 Inch, 1 1/4 Inches & 1 3/4 Inches.
Cylinder Stroke: 1 Inch.

Cast Iron: Soleplate, cylinder castings, valve chests and covers, top and bottom cylinder covers, pistons, eccentric sheaves, counter balance weights, discwheel.

Gunmetal: Slider bracket, connecting rod bearings, eccentric rods, slide valves, air pump castings,
feed pump castings, stuffing box, glands, crossheads, crankshaft bearings.

Sundries: Detailed drawings, cylinder lagging, gasket material, piston rings, gland packing, fixings pack.
