The Maier gas motor CLASSIC 1S, with large flywheel, uses a patented Piezo- ignition system. Because of it's large flywheel the engine can easily be operated at a very slow RPM. Through the use of Propane or butane (lighter gas) as a fuel, is releases non toxic fumes and is therefore an ideal indoor motor. The open construction of the motor allows one insight on the mechanical workings. A comfortable pleasant sound is established through two long exhaust pipes. It consists for the most part of ground, anodised aluminium and nickel plated brass parts which give the engine a high quality, detailed appearance. The engine runs on a 70% Butane 30% Propane mixture that can easily be purchased at a camping outdoors shop. This mixture allows the engine to run in the house with a window open. The spark plug is actuated by a piezo igniter.

Price:$999.95

The engine is easy to start thanks to the piezo high voltage ignition system, two "ignition jets" and a large brass flywheel. Once running the engine produces the typical V-engine exhaust sound. The two cylinder motion sequence is especially accentuated due to the open construction design. The counter-rotating parts - pistons, crosshead and push rods - result in an intriguing mechanical interplay.

Through the use of Propane/Butane or Butane (lighter gas) as a fuel, only non toxic fumes are released and therefore this is an ideal "indoor engine".

This model motor is made of aluminum, brass and stainless steel. The engine runs on a 80% Butane 20% Propane mixture that can easily be purchased at a camping outdoors shop. This mixture allows the engine to run in the house with a window open. The spark plug is actuated by a piezo igniter.

Technical data:
Model: Two Cylinder Gas Engine MM-5
Rotation Speed Control: Via Valve on the Gas Tank
Crank Shaft: 5-Fold Ball Bearing Mounted
Cylinder Capacity: Twice 1.5 cm³
Rotation Speed: 200 - 1.500 rpm
Ignition: Piezo High Voltage Ignition
Running Time: 10 min/tankful (idling mixture)
Height × Width × Length: 240 mm × 50 mm × 180 mm
Weight: 2,500 g (with tank and mounting plate)

The four cylinder axial piston gas engine with “tumbling spider” engine is based on the model of aeroplane engines tested in the 1930s and 1940s. These engines were of interest because they took up less front space than radial engines.

The piezo high voltage ignition system built into the base is propelled by a drive belt from the engine shaft. The ignition, or rather, ignition point is controlled by a central distributor. Gas and rotation speed control is achieved via a valve on the gas tank with pressure gauge. 2 sprockets fasten the tumbling spider. Ball and socket joints connect the tumbling spider and pistons.

The elegant motion sequence of four cylinders is especially accentuated by the open construction design. The counter-rotating parts "tumbling spider, pistons, crosshead and push rods" present an intriguing mechanical interplay while operating. The engine runs at a pleasantly deep pitch.

The engine runs on a 70% Butane 30% Propane mixture that can easily be purchased at a camping outdoors shop. This mixture allows the engine to run in the house with a window open. The spark plug is actuated by a piezo igniter.

Technical data:
Model: Four Cylinder Axial Piston Gas Engine MM-6
Rotation Speed Control: Via Valve on the Gas Tank
Tumbling Spider: 4-Fold Ball Bearing Mounted
Cylinder Capacity: Four Times 1.5 cm³
Rotation Speed: 200 - 1,000 rpm
Running Time: 10 min/tankful (idling mixture)
Flywheel Diameter: 123 mm
Ignition: Piezo High Voltage Ignition
Height × Width × Length: 240 mm × 180 mm × 280 mm
Weight: 3,200 g (with tank and mounting plate)

The four stroke gas engine is classically constructed with a bottom-mounted camshaft powered by gearwheels which operate valves via a ram, push rod and rocker arm.

A large flywheel with a flange-mounted ripcord-wheel facilitates comfortable and secure starting.

The gasification, i.e. the blending of gas and air, is achieved via a user-controlled carburettor. The desired rotation speed is adjusted via a lever.

This reduced emission engine with a piezo high voltage ignition is very quiet and even at high rotation speeds produces a pleasant sound.

The engine consumes fuel economically and thanks to the open construction design displays a very satisfactory sequence of piston, crosshead, push rods and rocker arms in motion.

Technical data:
Model: Four Stroke Gas Engine MM-4
Rotation Speed Control: Via Carburettor
Crank Shaft: 3-fold ball bearing mounted
Cylinder Capacity: 1.5 cm³
Rotation Speed: 200 - 2,500 rpm
Ignition: Piezo High Voltage Ignition
Running Time: 40 min/tankful (idling mixture)
Height × Width × Length: 220 mm × 120 mm × 180 mm
Weight: 2,300 g

NOTE: The carbonator is very fickle on this engine. We have had problems with operating this engine in high altitude environments.

Butane Gas Powered Turbine Engine - T120 Runs on Butane and Steam

Ref: MRTurbine

Price:$2,395.00

Quantity:

This turbine works like a gas turbine or jet engine. The working fluid is water.
It utilizes a pump and an evaporator.

Below the turbine is a fixed capacitor and a acrylic glass consisting of non-pressurized water tank. Above the turbine is the gas burner.

The principle operation of the steam turbine:
Water is pumped into the turbine. The upper part of the evaporator is about 1mm thick, a thin flat layer of water comes in contact with the upper wall of the turbine. This wall is heated by the gas burner and brings the trapped water to the boiling point. The pumps and evaporation run simultaneously
The opposite of centrifugal force, the fulcrum of the turbine steam is flowing through a line to the circumference of the turbine and flows out through jet propulsion. Then the steam is passed through a condenser tube, the resulting water flows back into the water tank.

Technical data:
Model: Gas Steam Turbine MM-1
Rotation Speed Control: Via Tank Valve
Turbine Shaft: 2-Fold Ball Bearing Mounted
Rotation Speed: 3,000 - 6,000 rpm
Running Time: 10 min/tankful (idling mixture)
Water Content: 300 ml Lime-Free Water (Distilled)
Tachometer: Digital
Temperature Meter: Digital
Height × Width × Length: 200 mm × 200 mm × 300 mm
Weight: 2,200 grams
