| Hero Steam Ball Ref: Gyroscope-hero This Steam Terbine is a model representation of one built by Hero (or Heron) of Alexandria. Hero is said to be the first person to invent a steam engine. The engine used rocket-like propulsion to turn, forcing high pressure steam from small nozzles at it side. The Hero's Steam Terbine is a more modern version of the engine invented by Hero, it come with a Steam safty valve already attached, Methylated Spirit Burner, four (4) Cotton Wicks, a 20ml Syringe, and a manual on how to operate. The Turbine has a base that is 5 3/4 inches long and 4 3/4 inches wide. The top of the Arch is 3 1/2 inches above the base and Safty Valve is 4 1/2 inches above the Base. The bottom of Sphere is 1 1/4 inches above the Base and it has a diameter of 1 3/4 inches. the Burner fits into an opening in the center of the Base right under the Sphere.
