	Karsten Heronsball Ref: KR1 East German Made Steam Powered Heron Ball. This toy steam engine is modeled in concept after what is believed to be the first steam engine developed by Heron of Alexandria. Heron called his invention an aeolipile, or "wind ball". Heron's design is a sealed caldron of water that is placed over a heat source. As the water boiled, steam rose into the pipes and into the hollow sphere. 	Karsten V-6 Power Plant Ref: KR3 The Karsten Steam Powered Turbine - V6 Power Plant Engine runs on denatured Alcohol. Four wicks heat the boiler. The size of the flame is adjusted by the lever on the right. The plate in the front can be removed to expose the turbine. The turbine has a built in generator to power the two lights mounted on the base. The engine has a control panel to light each light separately as well as to actuate the power to the extension bus. The extension bus can be used to power the optional electric Motor and free standing light. These two items are offered separate.
