With the G 12, the Prussians built one of the predecessors of the one type locomotive. In 1917, the first locomotive was finished. She had a 3-cilinder power plant. Clearly a chance from earlier designs.

Prototype: Heavy general purpose locomotive class GG-1 of the Consolidated Rail Co. (Conrail). Wheel arrangement 4-6-6-4 special version Stars and Stripes.

German Federal Railroad (DB) class VT 08.5 fast powered rail car train. Three-unit design with a B-2+2-2+2-2 wheel arrangement.

This three-part unit consists of a powered car, (VT), intermediate car (VM), and a cab control car (VS). 4 axles are powered with a 5-pole motor.
There is a special close coupled connection between the cars. The dual headlights and dual red marker lights are maintenance-free LED's that change over with the direction of travel.
The train looks as the prototype did in the 1950s. Length of the three-unit train 364 mm / 14-5/16

Model: Locomotive comes with a 5-pole motor. All driving axles powered. Low side car is loaded with 2 automobile models made of metal. Hopper car is loaded with real coal. Brakeman platform and walkway with ladders are separately applied. Finely detailed, partially open frame. 20 sections straight track, 12 sections curved track, 1 double slip switch, 3 electric turnouts, 3 track bumpers, rerailer, control box, distribution strip, wire, and power pack. Marklin Passenger Train -81437

The increase in the population in the Ruhr and Saal areas led to a demand for fast connections between cities as early as the provincial railroad period. Different studies were commissioned and carried out. The actual breakthrough did not occur until 1932 when the Ruhr Express Service was placed into service with a total of 32 trains between Essen and Dortmund. The train routes were continuously expanded and extended to Cologne, Mönchengladbach and Wuppertal-Vohwinkel. In addition to different powered rail cars, the 4-axle English design compartment cars turned out particularly well in this service. The attractive paint scheme became a trademark symbol for this regularly scheduled express passenger service. The dense sequence of stations, most of them only a 30 to 60 second stop, demanded locomotives that could accelerate quickly. The class 78 met this requirement as if it were child's play. The additional sign mounted on the smoke box was another indication of the special use for these units.

Marklin Flat Car Set - 82570

Model: 1 flat car loaded with squared timber that has been stacked in layers. 1 flat car loaded with cordwood banded in packs. 1 flat car loaded with heavy beams stacked in a slanted fashion. Cars have different car numbers. Finely detailed reproduction of the arch bar trucks and of the truss rods. Stakes that can be installed on the cars are included. Models not available separately. Marklin Powered Track Cleaning Car As An Inductive Measurement Car - 88021

Two of the three axles on this track cleaning car are powered. The wheels on the rear axle and on the front axle have ridges on the treads. The two front wheels for cleaning turn faster than the driving wheels. Regular use of this track cleaning car will prevent dirt buildup on the rails.

Model: Locomotive comes with a 5-pole mini-club motor. All driving

axles powered. Three of the low side gondolas have contemporary vacation vehicle

combinations as freight, each car having 1 model automobile and 1 model trailer.

The fourth low side gondola transports 2 models of delivery trucks, a panel

truck and a flat bed truck with a tarp cover. All of the automobiles and trucks,

and trailers are made of metal. Locomotive and cars are in a special edition.
