Maxwell Hemmens precision model steam engine & boiler: Horizontal single cylinder mill style engine, boiler & wood display plate. The plant includes a York Mill Engine, a vertical flame tube boiler, a generator, condensation tank and a muffler - engine & boiler are mounted to metal plate, then to finished wood base. Includes paperwork, with original boiler certificate. The Plexiglas tube is missing from the lamp.

This is a very rare unit. Hemmens is one of the most famous model steam engineers. This is serial number 2! This steam plant was the predecessor to the York Mill steam plant produced by Vision Engineering that sold for over $4,000
