Böhm combined the ideas of both inventors in the Stirling-Car A1. The thin brass cusps are reminiscent of the Prussian imperial age and of historical automobiles from around 1885.

The Glassworks

See the pistons at work. Look inside the glass cylinders at the Stirling Cycle principle in action. This engine is extremely interesting to watch, is well built, and runs at speeds up to 1500 RPM. This is a hard combination to beat. Gyro-quality ball bearings, machined flywheel, sand cast frame which is painted royal blue, aluminum cooling fins and a hardwood platform are only a few of the outstanding features incorporated into this engine. To illustrate the versatility of a Stirling Engine, we provide a burner for denatured alcohol and a platform for solid fuel. A sample quantity of ESBIT dry fuel is supplied with the engine as well.

Special features include: replaceable and adjustable Pyrex hot cap, replaceable Pyrex power cylinder, dual fuel capability, and a solid hardwood platform. Specifications: 9" length x 4" height x 6" width. Completely assembled and ready to run.

The first "RIDER" engines were manufactured in 1880 by the De Lamater Iron Works. This engine was the inspiration for our "Peanut RIDER."

This all metal, black and brass engine with red flywheel is mounted on a solid hardwood platform. It is an excellent running engine and will make a handsome addition to your collection.

Each engine is test run at the factory and comes complete with an alcohol fuel cell, extra wick, allen wrenches, and Owner's Manual.

1895 RIDER-ERICSSON HOT AIR PUMPING ENGINE

Now, you too can own the most sought after model hot air engine!

The Rider-Ericsson is the only hot air engine that was actually manufactured in production quantities. This marvelous engine is fascinating to see run, with all of its moving parts and a pump that really works! It is a must for all model hot air collections!

Our Hot Air Engine measures 4-1/2" x 5" x 6". The curved spokes of the flywheel, the cast linkages, bedplate, water jacket, and crankshaft bracket all contribute to the air of authenticity.

The original Ericsson engines were all water cooled. We are offering a water-cooled version complete with pump to circulate water through the engine. A free, 12-page leaflet containing interesting information on the original Ericsson engine is included with each model.

Each engine is tested at the factory and comes complete, ready to run, with an alcohol fuel burner, water tank, extra wick, allen wrenches and Owner's Manual.

Stirling Cycle Motor Driven Fan

With this impressing small finished model we retained our typical model engineering character.
The flying wheel is a cast iron part and not a CNC-lathed disk.
All brilliant parts are high-class gilded, i.e. they won't tarnish.
The parts will stay brilliant even after 20 years.

We also retained our WIGGERS-RED as the basic colour.

Heating cylinder and displacer consist of a heat-resistant glass of excellent quality. The wick of the burner is made of fibreglass. The operating piston and the bearings consist of self-lubricating material.
The model is mounted on an oiled wooden plate (70 x 160 mm) made of Abachi-wood. It is heated by normal spirit. The total height is 80 mm.

This Stirling Engine is equipped with a bigger fly wheel, which is running between two machine pillars and ensures a good driving mechanism. Regarding the height of the model the heating oven with chimney is conspicuous. The heating oven better concentrates the heat around the heating cylinder; it is operated by a smaller flame and it produces a longer run. Optically the machine pillars and the heating oven, painted in WIGGERS red, give the machine a very appealing construction. All other parts are gilded, so that the model has a good appearance after years. The beech basic board is bright natural and protected with clear lacquer to contamination.

Of course the burner pot is gilded like all other parts, it has a fiberglass wick and the handle of the burner is turned beech.

Measurements of the model: length = 185 mm, width 90 mm, height 170 mm.

The model Stiwi 2 will also be delivered like model Stiwi 1 in a valuable wooden box.

This stirling model was developed by WIGGERS model engineering. It demonstrates a unique and fascinating movement of levers and rods. The model is not the most fuel efficient but it is optically fascinating and mesmerizing to watch run.

The movement of the heating and cooling cylinders are constructed in such a way that the whole mechanism is executed by the need for only one crank pin. The connection rods, levers and angles provides for a fascinating process of movement. The adjustment of the number of revolutions is possible through the control knob located on the side of the engine. The slower the model is run with its many side mechanisms, the more appealing is the process of its movement. The model generates a remarkable amount of power due to the big dimensioned fly wheel. This power can be used to run accessories with the pulley attached to the flywheel. The surface is painted and nickel plated to prevent tarnish and corrosion. The design is such that the model is free of maintenance and is heated by methyl spirits. The grooved beech wooden base board of the model centers a an acrylic hood, which gives the model protection. This model is medium sized and needs the following place: length: 280 mm, width: 170 mm, height with hood: 230 mm.

This beaitiful Classic Stirling model engine is the third model produced by the German Manufacture for it's desk and show case models. It has a straight spoke flywheel.

Lying oscillating model:

This exquisite German made Stirling engine was designed on 3 axes.

We applied 3 axes to our model engineering and we created a lying, oscillating stirling model with some technical particularities: speed regulation, glass cylinder and displacer, spirit tank in the base plate, air guidance through the vertical axes.

WIGGERS Stirling model engineering is glad to be able to present a model of a special design: the worldwide first Rider-Stirling machine.

It is the model of an original Rider Monski machine probably finished in licence before 1885 in Germany by Alexander Monski.

We succeeded to create a model whereby model engineers always failed. After nearly two years we primarily succeeded to set a perfect functioning model on foot – for pretentious Stirling model engineers a real technical dainty.

Rider Ericsson: hot air pumping machine

The original machine was patented in America in 1888 and was formally, as well as today, a classic model among the STIRLING machines.

A new variety of STIRLING engineering has been developed with WIGGERS.

A slim appealing model without edges. Even the cooling ribs of the heating cylinder are oval. The proportions are very well compensated by means of the slim machine pillar and the fly wheel running at the top with curved spokes. The axis are designed with ball bearings.
The technical highlight however is: Both cylinders are operating oscillating!!

The unusual Hielscher Hot Air Engine -Stirling 1 has a flywheel in the form of a propeller and its displacer cylinder is a thin-walled can made of tin. It can be fuelled using either a spirit burner or tea-light. The number of revolutions per minute will be lower when the engine is operated using a tea-light due to the lower temperature.
