Cortina Pre Formed Layout

Preformed Cortina Z scale train layout, 100 x 69 cm, approximately 21 cm high.
The interrelation of mountain and valley, rock and water constitute the attraction of this landscape. The addition of an interesting railroad line winding through the scene only adds to its fascination. Removable mountain summits facilitate the recover if a train derails 2 sidings and a large lake with brook (suitable for flowing water) complete the plant, which is suitable also for the installation of a functional overhead line.

The tracks negotiate a constantly changing mountain and valley scenery on the "Cortina" layout creating a fascinating landscape. This layout is specifically designed for Z scale enthusiasts. The mountain top is removable to access the layouts tunnels. There are 2 long storage tracks for the freight yard. We recommend building the catenary system for your electric locomotive operations. As all preformed layouts feature also the smallest radius of each manufacturer, long wagons might brush against the terrain, the tunnel entrances and exits as well as on bridges.
